These panels were first displayed at my solo exhibition at the Bryan Oliver Gallery in Spokane, Washington. At this show we hung them in space, that is about a foot off the wall, secured to the ceiling with tiny cables. Hanging in space allows them to catch the light from both sides but I dream of them hanging in home or office windows daily. They really come to life in natural light and since natural light is constantly changing, the panel changes too. Best seen in person, don't hesitate to schedule a studio visit here
I view these as a new (to me) hybrid form of kilnformed-stained glass as the glass is only 1/8" (3mm) thick and they were made to transmit light and distract viewers. With walnut frame: 19" x 19" x .75" (48.3cm x 48.3cm x 1.9cm)
We're not gonna lie: These panels are amazing...and fragile. And although it might look like it, shipping isn't free and the smartest mode will be determined based on location, after purchase.
